The initial thought “Why be one, when you can be two — or even more?” kickstarted the hybrid career of Twigge. Combining multiple disciplines into more than the commercial projects and creative practices but also in the NGO’s she supports. She has realised the unprecedented across the globe and has called Shanghai, Mumbai, Amsterdam and New York her home.

At first she took on as many different projects she could handle when after leaving her brand & event management job at Rabobank in 2007.

“At the time I was heavily questioned for having a ‘LUST FOR EVERYTHING’, living creatively wasn’t always understood as logical. Yet, after more than 15 years of living and traveling across the globe and getting so much work done I have left those mentions far behind me.”

The arts and creative practices inform the concepts and strategies developed. But it’s Twigge’s business-brain that organises and executes the designed solutions. She understands what it takes to get the word out as well as make what is created profitable.

When one really wants to make an impact one needs to join forces. That is where the agency comes in. Many of the ‘work done’ is owed to all the wonderful people that I team up with. Sometimes regularly, sometimes just for a moment, but each and every one of them equally valuable. The studio is necessary for creative flow. It allows members to work through subjects that don’t have to be commercially fancy. It’s the birthplace of www.tjigx.com and many other contributions to society.

Yet, inevitably the creative endeavours allow Twigge to push boundaries for the clients and build propositions that are commercially distinct.
